Boeing 747-400 Cockpit Photogrammetric Scan & Modeling

Gaya delivered the Boeing 747-400 cockpit end to end for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024!

We sourced the aircraft and secured access for a complete on-site capture, scanning the cockpit with our Artec Leo 3D scanners and conducting a dedicated orthographic photography pass for accurate materials and textures.

The raw scan data was then processed, cleaned and assembled before entering an extensive retopology phase, followed by massive optimization for real-time performance. From individual components to the complete cockpit, the asset was brought to final production quality, including LOD creation, engine integration and cockpit animations.

From real-world aircraft capture to a fully optimized in-engine result, every stage was delivered by Gaya.
